For serious shopping, locals head to nearby Westfield Mount Druitt & Blacktown for an extensive choice of eateries, fashion shops and homeward centres. Whilst, there is more than enough parklands, sporting fields and remaining natural bushland to keep active legs busy outdoors.

The whole area is well set-up for happy families. There is plenty of education on offer, all your required health and social services, plus the easy access to the M7 and M4 highways, as well as its own train line, means travelling out of Rooty Hill to get where you want to go is a no-brainer.

But the landmark that really makes Rooty Hill memorable is the Rooty Hill RSL. This centre is one of Sydney’s biggest clubs, boasting a line-up of entertainment and facilities that are world class. Here you can strike out at the AMF Bowling alley, get a great workout at the Health & Fitness facility or enjoy a crazy afternoon of Skirmish and splatter the competition.
